Melvin and myself and possibly Ian are considering riding the Dalby Forest Mountain Bike Marathon on Sunday. A 45mile route north of Pickering. The start is at High Rigg Farm in Dalby Forest - about two hours drive from Calderdale - we intend being there for about 8.30 for a 9am start. Its very good MTB country which should be extra good in Autumn colours. If its half as good as the Grassington Round two weeks ago or the Season of Mists last week it will be well worth the effort.
